Three members of support staff from Leyland's Women's Refuge have achieved NVQ level 3 in Housing, and the Refuge's Manager has achieved NVQ level 4.
The team all work at Progress Care's Clare House, which supports women and their families fleeing domestic abuse by providing safe accommodation and welfare services.
Says Liz Stanton, Manager at the Refuge: 'It is great for the team to gain formal recognition for the incredible work they do on a day-to-day basis.
'They all worked very hard over the past year to successfully complete the qualification, and their achievement is a credit to their skills, experience and commitment to their work.'
