New Progress tenants of Foundations and Inn2 in Preston have recently signed up to the newly established Tenants Compact, setting out a clear commitment between the tenants and staff of New Progress Housing Association.

The Compact sets out how tenants and staff will work together to improve the services and quality of life of tenants and other users of our Housing Support Services. It has been introduced to ensure that service users are effectively involved in the decision making process at a level and pace chosen by themselves, whilst cultivating both personal and community development. The Compact encourages, promotes and supports the development and expansion of how we involve tenants by looking at ways in which they can help shape the service they receive. It also sets out our commitment to support the participation of tenants in self-development activities.

By signing up to the Compact tenants and staff have equally committed to a number of points that will ultimately improve the overall standard of the service being delivered, clearly setting out everyone's commitment to the partnership.
