We provide architectural, project management and planning supervisor services both in-house and for a number of external clients. We deliver a complete package from initial client brief to handover of the completed building. Examples of projects include the following:
We surveyed 60 properties in Merseyside, the Scottish borders and Lancashire for the Brothers of Charity. Progress Care Housing Association will purchase these properties and carry out adaptations and improvements. The existing residents then became tenants of Progress Care, with support provided by the Brothers of Charity.
We completed the final phase of our development on Brindle Road in Bamber Bridge. The project consisted of the demolition of the remaining bungalows and the construction of ten, semi-detached, two and three bedroom houses for general let.
The construction of nine flats, plus carer's accommodation, was completed on the site of a derelict church in Clayton-le-Moors.
We have coordinated on-site works for two improvement schemes for North British Housing Association in Chorley and Clayton Brook.
A block of adjoining, Victorian properties was purchased from Preston Borough Council by Progress Care and converted into fifteen, self contained flats and bedsits for young homeless people.
We were involved in the energy efficiency scheme for New Progress Housing Association's properties in Burneside, Cumbria. We calculated the existing energy efficiency ratings of the properties, identified work to be carried out, analysed the fuel and cost savings of the proposed works and liased with consultants and tenants. The scheme involved the installation of solar panels for power and hot water, cavity wall and loft insulation, double-glazing, and central heating.
We prepared schemes for a number of properties in Blackpool acquired by New Progress Housing Association. Two properties will be converted into two bedroom flats and the remainder will be refurbished and re-let as general needs housing.
